ELYRIA, Ohio — A 37-year-old Elyria woman has been arrested after police said she stabbed a 33-year-old woman to death on Thursday.
Holly Baire was taken into custody and charged with murder, according to police.
Police responded to the 400 block of Lorain Boulevard for reports of a female stabbed. When police arrived, they found the victim, identified as 33-year-old Jamie Royster of Elyria, with a stab wound to her upper torso.
She was transported to University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center where she was pronounced dead.
Baire was taken to Lorain County Jail where she remains in custody with no bond until her court appearance on Friday morning.
