Posted

Four people have been charged after they were arrested in an Elyria drug bust where authorities seized hundreds of oxycodone pills, cash and a firearm.

The following people have been charged:

  • Pedro Franceschi, 36, of Elyria
  • Courtney Warrens, 26, of Elyria
  • Keshawn Freeman, 21, of Detroit, Michigan
  • Damon Farish Jr., 21, of Detroit, Michigan

All four were charged with trafficking in drugs and possession of a controlled substance, police said.

The group was arrested on Wednesday when Elyria police executed a search warrant on two apartments in the 1300 block of East Avenue, according to authorities.

Police said the warrant was served following an investigation into the alleged illicit activities of Franceschi and Warrens.

Authorities said Franceschi and Warrens would buy pills from a supplier in Detroit and give them to lower-level dealers to sell across Lorain County.

Police found more than 800 oxycodone pills, $3,000 in cash and a shotgun in the apartments during the arrests.

The four individuals are currently being held in the Lorain County Jail.
