OBERLIN, Ohio — The Lorain County Drug Lab has identified the substance that caused seven people to fall ill in Oberlin last October.
The drug lab said the substance was methamphetamine.
On Oct. 29, officers responded to the Walmart parking lot in Oberlin for a drug overdose.
While the officers were interacting with the person who overdosed, they were both exposed to a substance that caused them to become unresponsive.
Following the incident, five health care workers were exposed.
