LORAIN, Ohio — Beginning Monday May 18, the Lorain County Public Library will offer curbside pick-up at each of its six branch locations, allowing patrons to place materials on hold though the library’s catalog.
The system will notify the patron that their hold is available, at which time the patron can grab their library card and head to their local branch between 1 and 6 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
There will be specific parking spaces with numbers dedicated for the pickup service. Once patrons arrive to the designated parking spots, they’re asked to call the library where a staff member will bring the material out to their vehicle.
When it comes time to return the books, the library encourages patrons to use the exterior book drops.
