LORAIN, Ohio — Lorain High school's Culinary and Hospitality program is reopening their restaurant, the Lighthouse Grill.
Students learn front of house and back of house skills, such as how to run a dining room, manage catering, and actually cooking.
Some students are there just to learn basic culinary skills for home, while others are ready to turn their lessons into a career.
"I do plan on owning a restaurant when I'm older. So I do want to go to culinary school and this is a good step for it," senior Neo Owens said.
The grill is open to the public for lunch on Tuesday's and Wednesday's.
The restaurant is reservation online.
