Lorain man arrested after allegedly taking motorcycle for test ride, never returning

AMHERST, Ohio — Amherst police have arrested a Lorain man who allegedly stole a motorcycle after taking it for a test ride and never returned.

Police said the victim posted a dirt bike for sale on Facebook.

The victim said a man responded to the post and made arrangements to meet at a local church for the man to test ride the motorcycle, according to authorities.

The man took the dirt bike for a test ride, but never returned, police said.

Authorities found the motorcycle and charged Joseph Perez, 21, with theft of a motorcycle.

Exavier Cruz, 20, has been charged with complicity to theft.

Facebook records show Perez's account is “GLO GUNNA”.
