LORAIN, Ohio — The Lorain Police Department is investigating a fatal stabbing that occurred early Sunday morning.
Around 12:56 a.m., officers were called to the 4600 block of Timberview Drive after receiving a report that a man had been stabbed, according to police.
Once on scene, officers found 40-year-old Luis Martinez-Sanchez near the driveway bleeding heavily, police said.
Two individuals at the scene told police that the stabbing occurred in a “domestic situation,” according to police.
Martinez-Sanchez was transported to Mercy Health-Lorain Hospital where he died from his injuries, police said.
No arrests have been made at this time and the incident remains under investigation, according to police.
