Lorain police are investigating a homicide after discovering two victims while responding to a burglary in progress call.
When police arrived at a home in the 3600 block of Amherst Avenue, they found a 67-year-old woman who was pronounced dead, and a 25-year-old man who was taken to a Cleveland-area hospital with significant injuries.
The woman has been identified as Linda Wisniewski of Lorain. The 25-year-old is currently in critical condition. Police say he also resided at the house with the victim.
Authorities are combing through security camera footage and following up on multiple leads. No arrests have been made.
