NORTH RIDGEVILLE, Ohio — The North Ridgeville Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred in the parking lot of the North Ridgeville Lorain County Community College’s campus early Saturday morning.
Around 2:14 a.m., officers were called for an altercation at a party adjacent to the LCCC campus, police said.
The altercation continued and escalated as it moved into the parking lot of the campus, according to police.
During the altercation, a man was shot. He was transported to a nearby hospital with non-life threating injuries, police said.
The incident is currently under investigation.
