The eastbound and westbound lanes of I-90 was closed in the Elyria area for two hours on Tuesday as crews repair downed power lines.
Starting at noon, crews shut down I-90 from the SR 57 interchange to the SR-254 exit to repair power lines that had fallen earlier in the morning.
During the closure, the Ohio Turnpike exit ramp to I-90 was also closed to alleviate additional congestion along I-90, according to ODOT.
A construction vehicle took down the power lines, which caused some delays for morning commuters.
Elyria police are asking motorists to avoid the area while the power lines are being repaired.
