ELYRIA, Ohio — A man is wanted in connection to a shooting that injured two people in Elyria late Monday night, according to the Elyria Police Department.
Police identified the suspect as 18-year-old Theo Ramon Thomas Jr., who is wanted on two counts of felonious assault, improperly discharging a firearm at or into habitation and tampering with evidence.
On Monday at around 11:09 p.m., police responded to 166 Bohannon Court for reports of shots fired. Thomas is accused of fleeing the shooting scene, police said.
Two victims were located with gunshot wounds. Officers administered first aid to the victims until EMS responded. Both shooting victims were transported to University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center before they were life-flighted to MetroHealth Hospital.
Thomas is considered armed and dangerous, according to police.
