GRAFTON TOWNSHIP, Ohio — A 54-year-old woman died Saturday, days after a single-vehicle crash that occurred in Grafton Township, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
On Thursday around 7:07 p.m., a 2013 Nissan Sentra was traveling on state Route 303 when it drove off the left side of the road and struck a tree, troopers said.
The driver of the Nissan, later identified as Michelle Smith, 54, was transported to University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center and later life-flighted to MetroHealth Medical Center in critical condition, according to troopers.
Smith was pronounced dead on Saturday, troopers said.
The crash remains under investigation.
