A woman was found passed out in her car near the intersection of West Bridge Street and West River Road South in Elyria on Sunday. She told police she had a cocktail, snorted heroin and smoked marijuana earlier in the night.
Officers said they found Theresa Eyring asleep in the driver's seat with the car still running and her foot on the brake. One of the officers reached through the window and turned the vehicle off.
When he woke Eyring up, the officer noticed her eyes were glossy and her speech was slurred. When she got out of the car, police say she had trouble standing up. Police said she failed all field sobriety tests.
Eyring was arrested and taken to the Elyria Police Department.
