Ravenna High School was on lockdown after a shooting incident on Henderson Road in Ravenna Township.
According to Ravenna police, a shooting was reported at 2:23 p.m. on Henderson Road. Due to the incident's location to the Ravenna High School, it was placed on lockdown.
As of 3 p.m. the lockdown was lifted and students were escorted to their vehicles. Buses resumed dropping students off.
While the lockdown was lifted and students were allowed to leave, the person connected to the shooting is still at large and residents in the area are encouraged to stay indoors and lock doors.
