RAVENNA, Ohio — U.S. Marshals have arrested a Ravenna homicide suspect in Austin, Texas.

In Feb. 2020, Ravenna police were called to an apartment in the 700 block of Woodgate North.

Initially, police believed Dominic Diaz-Francis, 17 had accidentally shot himself in his chest, but the case was later ruled a homicide.

Three weeks ago, police identified Lynden Jones, 19, as a suspect.

Jones was arrested in Texas without incident.

“Members of the Ravenna Police Department worked diligently to identify a suspect and because of the partnership of the local and federal agencies this violent fugitive is behind bars," U.S. Marshal Pete Elliott said.
