4 facing felony charges in connection with a string of break-ins, thefts in Tuscarawas Township

TUSCARAWAS TOWNSHIP, Ohio — Four people have been arrested on felony charges for their alleged involvement in a string of break-ins and thefts that occurred in Tuscarawas Township, located in Stark County, between Nov. 8, 2020 and Jan. 18.

The four people charged are:

  • Kyle Bowers, 25, of Kenyon Avenue NW has been charged with one count of receiving stolen property, a fifth-degree felony, two counts of breaking and entering a fifth-degree felony, and one count of grand theft, a fourth-degree felony.
  • Casey Doston Jr., 26, of Beach City, has been charged with one count of receiving stolen property, a fifth-degree felony,
  • Kenneth Duncan, 33, of Dalton, has been charged with one count of breaking and entering, a fifth-degree felony and one count of grand theft, a fourth-degree felony.
  • Jordan Findley, 19, of Massillon, has been charged with one count of grand theft, a fourth-degree felony.

The Stark County Sheriff’s Office said during that time period, deputies investigated multiple reports of break-ins and thefts from residences, businesses and vehicles. Items stolen included vehicles, tools, tires and wheels, all worth $10,000.

Throughout the investigation, it was discovered the majority of the property was recovered at a home in the 1000 block of Kenyon Avenue NW in Tuscarawas Township. Deputies said stolen items reported missing from properties from Perry Township, Beach City and Massilion were also recovered at the home on Kenyon Avenue.
