MARLBORO TOWNSHIP, Ohio — The body of an 18-year-old man who had been missing since Saturday night was found in the middle of a shallow pond in Marlboro Township, near a home where an underage party was thrown Saturday, and where the teen was last seen.
The body of Aidan Jewell Dieffenbaugher was located and positively identified at about 3:30 p.m. Tuesday after a Summit County dive team was called to check Nisly Pond, according to Marlboro Township Police Chief Devies.
Police said so far, they do not believe that foul play was involved in Dieffenbaugher’s death. A toxicology report and autopsy will confirm his cause of death.
The Bureau of Criminal Investigations is processing the scene where Dieffenbaugher was found, as well as the house here the party was held on Pontius Street in Marlboro Township.
Chief Devies said that several arrests are expected in the next few days due to drug use and underage drinking at the party where Dieffenbaugher was last seen.
