LAKE TOWNSHIP, Ohio — An Akron man has been charged for a 2018 Lake Township home invasion that turned deadly.
Clifford Deon Walters, 39, is charged with murder, aggravated burglary and felonious assault, according to the Stark County Sheriff’s Office.
Around 1:30 a.m. on Sept. 11, 2018, authorities responded to a residence in the 8800 block of Cleveland Avenue NW for a possible shooting. When deputies arrived, they found a man with a gunshot wound.
The man, 31-year-old Brian A. Limoli, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Walters is currently being held in police custody at the Medina County Jail on unrelated charges.
