Five employees were inside a Massillon Wendy's when a fire broke out in the restaurant Sunday.
According to fire officials, everyone was able to make it out unharmed.
Firefighters responded to the location on Lincoln Way East around 9:45 a.m.
When crews got there, smoke was billowing from the entire building. Heavy flames and smoke caused the roof to collapse, forcing firefighter to use a "defensive" attack.
The fire was put out by 1:45 p.m. Firefighters remained on scene to put out hot spots.
No injuries were reported.
Jaskon, Perry Township, Erie Valley and Lance Township firefighters assisted Massillon with extinguishing the fire.
