STARK COUNTY, Ohio — The Stark County Emergency Management Agency is offering some tips for people affected by flooding.
They said the Red Cross is offering people in need housing and clean up kits.
The EMA said they won't get directly involved with assistance unless there is a disaster declaration.
They want to remind people that there is a difference between water backup and flooding and not to call your insurance company saying it's flooding if the water came in the basement or through the drains. The EMA said most insurance companies offer some coverage for that.
