OSNABURG TOWNSHIP, Ohio — The Stark County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an explosion that occurred near East Canton Saturday night.
Around 8:44 p.m., deputies responded to the 1600 block of Broadway Avenue in response to an explosion inside of a home, according to deputies.
Once on scene, deputies found a 41-year-old man who had suffered injuries while making an incendiary device using smokeless gun powder, deputies said.
The man was life-flighted to MetroHealth Medical Center where he is being treated for serious injuries, according to deputies.
The incident remains under investigation.
