FAIRLAWN, Ohio — A concealed carry permit holder was shot after he drew his firearm at two men brandishing handguns at him during an attempted robbery Monday night in Fairlawn.
According to the Fairlawn Police Department, officers responded to the 100 block of Buffington Road around 9:20 p.m. for a shooting.
Officers found the 24-year-old victim with two gunshot wounds to his legs. The victim told police that he had just arrived at a nearby home when two men walked up to him. Both of the men had weapons pointed at him and then demanded money, authorities stated.
