GREEN, Ohio — A 71-year-old man driving a Corvette died in a crash Thursday in the City of Green, according to the Summit County Sheriff's Office.
The sheriff's office, along with the fire department and members of the Summit Metro Crash Response Team responded to a crash on East Turkeyfoot Lake Road at around 7:30 a.m.
A 2004 Corvette driven by a 71-year-old Green resident collided with a tractor-trailer that was attempting to turn into a gas station.
After the Corvette hit the tractor trailer, it struck a Honda Civic.
The 71-year-old man was taken to Summa Akron City Hospital, where he later died from his injuries. His identity has not yet been released.
The two other drivers were not injured in the crash.
The sheriff's office said alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the crash.
