One victim died in a Summit County fire in the early morning hours on Sunday.

The Northfield Village Fire Department said it received a call from a police officer reporting smoke in the area of 18 Heights Avenue at about 3 a.m.
When firefighters arrived at the house, the fire was so large they couldn’t enter the home to search for people.
When crews got the fire under control, they entered the home and found a victim who was taken to Bedford Hospital.

The victim—identified as 47-year-old Renee Boley-Yaeger—was pronounced dead at the hospital.
The fire is currently under investigation by the State of Ohio Fire Marshal and the Cuyahoga County Coroner.
