A grand jury has declined to pursue charges against a 69-year-old man who was arrested last year on suspicion of killing his wife.

According to court documents, the Summit County Grand Jury returned a no bill on an indictment filed against 69-year-old Anthony Demchak.

Marilyn Demchak, 69, was found unresponsive in her home on Dooridge Drive in Twinsburg on Oct. 25. She was transported to a nearby hospital and pronounced dead.

Authorities launched an investigation into her death and Anthony Demchak was charged with murder, felonious assault, involuntary manslaughter and reckless homicide.

The Summit County Medical Examiner later ruled that a cause of death could not be determined.

On Jan. 31, the charges were dropped and Anthony was released from jail.
