GREEN, Ohio — The Summit County Sheriff's Office has arrested a man who is accused of striking a woman with a knife and forcing her into his vehicle.
Deputies said they received a call Tuesday night at 7 p.m. after a woman showed up at a gas station with a severe head injury.
She told deputies she had been forced into a vehicle by a man she knew named "Mike."
"Mike" threatened her and struck her with a knife, according to deputies.
The victim jumped out of a moving vehicle on Interstate 77 near Massillon Road.
She walked to the gas station and was later transported to Aultman Hospital.
Deputies were able to identify "Mike" as George Snow, 55.
Snow was found a short time later with the knife.
He was charged with abduction and felonious assault.
