BAUGHMAN TOWNSHIP, Ohio — A Massillon teenager who was pulled out of a pond at a campground in Wayne County over the weekend has died.
Domingo Gutierrez-Quixan, 14, was swimming at Caskeys Campground in Baughman Township on Sunday when friends and family realized he was missing, according to the Akron Beacon Journal/Ohio.com.
The boy was pulled from the water and given CPR.
Domingo was transported to Aultman Orrville Hospital and then taken to Akron Children’s Hospital where he later died, the Akron Beacon Journal/Ohio.com reported.
Authorities said they are planning on performing an autopsy.
