WOOSTER, Ohio — Following a weekend of flooding in Wayne County, the Wooster fire chief says that firefighters rescued around 25 people and nearly 400 people were evacuated from the area on Monday.
Residents who live in the Prairie Lane Lake Park campground were asked to leave.
The water is slowly receding in some areas on Monday, but the county remains under a Flood Warning until 11:45 a.m.

The flooding caused a part of Wooster Moose Lodge on North Bauer Road to collapse and part of the ground to be washed away.
Throughout parts of Wooster, the water was so high that parked cars were stuck in the street.
