WOOSTER, Ohio — The Wooster City School District announced Friday that a fourth grader at Parkview Elementary School has tested positive for COVID-19.
According to the district, the child also attends the Alternate Learning Center at Grace Church.
Additionally, a fifth grader at Edgewood Middle School has a presumptive diagnosis of COVID-19, the district said, “due to contact per Ohio Department of Health criteria.”
The district states that the Wayne County Health Department conducted contact tracing and identified three students at the elementary school who also attend the Alternate Learning Center and four students at the middle school who have been required to quarantine.
