Troopers ask for help identifying man struck by car in Wayne County

CHESTER TOWNSHIP, Ohio — The Wooster Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who was struck by a car in Chester Township early Sunday morning.

On Sunday around 1:47 a.m., a 2010 Honda CR-V was driving northbound on Overton Road near McAfee Road when it struck a man who was in the roadway, troopers said.

The driver of the Honda did not sustain any injuries but the man suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to Akron City Hospital by Life Flight, according to troopers.

The man’s identity is unknown.
