Authorities are searching for a driver who struck an Amish buggy and then drove off following a crash in Holmes County on Tuesday afternoon.
According to the Wooster Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred on County Road 160 just west of Township Road 652 in Paint Township.
The buggy's operator and the horse were not injured in the crash, but the buggy's wheels were knocked off, troopers said.
The car troopers are looking for is described as a maroon Honda, but it's not known if it is a Civic or Accord. Parts of the Honda were left at the scene, and police said the car will likely have damage on its left side as well as the driver-side mirror, authorities said.
