WOOSTER, Ohio — The Wooster Police Department saved the day for a mama duck and her babies.
While patrolling in the Wayne Towne Plaza, Ptl. Don hall came across a mama duck and her babies who were lost.
The mama duck kept pacing in front of the plaza stores, bumping into the glass windows from Bath and Body Works to Pet Supplies Plus.
The department said it became apparent she was trying to find her way to the pond behind the building.
With the help of the Pets Supplies Plus employees, the officer was able to herd the ducks through the store and out the back to the woods and pond.
The mama duck and her babies were able to scurry off to the pond.
