The Cleveland Division of Police's text-to-911 services are unavailable Wednesday night.
From 6 p.m. to 12 a.m., the system will be temporarily disabled due to recommended updates, authorities said.
Anyone in need of assistance should use the traditional 911 service or call the non-emergency number at (216) 621-1234.
