Thousands of people were without power across Northeast Ohio Sunday morning, according to First Energy.

Numerous counties, including Cuyahoga, Lorain, Portage and Lake counties, had residents who were affected. As of Sunday night, the number had dwindled to hundreds.

Most areas were expected to have power restored by 3:30 p.m., but some are still waiting for an estimated restoration time.

First Energy said the outages are caused by severe weather that has been wreaking havoc across Northeast Ohio on Sunday.
