AKRON, Ohio — The Akron Zoo is offering free admission on Monday, March 2 as they celebrate the start of National Developmental Disabilities Month.
Guests who wear orange to the Akron Zoo will receive free admission Monday.
Employees of the Summit County Developmental Disabilities Board will be at the zoo with special activities and the zoo will have up-close animal experiences available to guests throughout the day.
In addition to free admission, guests who wear orange and post a photo of themselves at the zoo with the hashtags #includeME and #akronzooinclusion will be entered to win an Akron Zoo family membership.
