CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Metroparks Zoo has a new, adorable addition that made its way into the world this week— a baby giraffe.
Not going to lie -- it's nice to be reporting on some good news this week.
The giraffe calf was born on Tuesday to mother Jhasmin, the zoo said.
Both Jhasmin and her calf are doing well and are bonding in the zoo’s indoor giraffe barn.
Guests are able to visit the baby giraffe from the barn windows from 9:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, according to the zoo.
The zoo’s new bundle of joy does not have a name yet, but the zoo said it will be announcing next week how the public can have a chance to name the calf.
