NEW RICHMOND, Ohio — A two-legged dog from New Richmond, Ohio will be featured in a global calendar for disabled dogs.
Lieutenant Dan will be among pets from 27 different countries in the 2021 Walkin Pet's Calendar.
The calendar helps raise pet mobility awareness and shows off adorable handicapped dogs.
Lt. Dan has had a great year.
He was named the 2020 Cadbury Easter Bunny earlier this year, beating a mini-horse, a pig, a llama, a hamster, a duck and two cats for the title.
Lieutenant Dan’s owners, who adopted him from a rescue, describe him as having a “joy for life that is infectious and inspiring” and despite being born different, said he hasn’t been slowed down one bit.
