CHAGRIN FALLS, Ohio — A Chagrin Falls teenager has found a way to put her free time to good use.

Kenston High School senior Alexa Busby has been making bracelets.

When school moved online in March, Busby decided to use her creative talents to try to save the planet.

Busby is selling the bracelets, with all proceeds going to non-profits that help the environment.

"Since school is out due to quarantine, I just wanted to find a way that I could still be making a positive impact at home," Busby said.

So far, Busby has raised $150, which went to the Nature Conservancy, a national organization that works to protect land and water resources. Busby created an Etsy page called Project Planet where people can buy the bracelets.
