CUYAHOGA FALLS, Ohio — More than 100 Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy students came together and helped get their teacher a new car.

Eric Ling teaches business and economics at the school and his students knew that a Honda Civic was his dream car.

Ling is in charge of Shya Designs, a student-run non-profit that benefits the widows of the Rwandan genocide, as well as the School of Business and Entrepreneurship program, according to CVCA grad Justin Folger.

Because of his charitable work for others, current students and school alumni felt it was time to give back to Ling and pitched in, buying him a new Honda Civic.

Ling was blindfolded and surprised with his current and former students surrounding him with signs as they presented him with his new car, which was decorated with a bow and a sign that read “We love you Mr. Ling! Thank you for all that you do!”
