OLMSTED TOWNSHIP, Ohio — Olmsted Township officials and members of the United States Marine Corps have partnered together for a third annual TOYS FOR TOTS collection drive.

Last year, the Toys for Tots program provided more than 33,000 toys to less fortunate children in the greater Cleveland area.

There will be a drive-thru donation event held Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Olmsted Township Fire Department, 26900 Cook Road.

Marines, firefighters, Santa, the Grinch and Cindy Lou will be there to collect unwrapped toys.

While you’re there, you can also take a “drive-thru” tour of the fire station.

"Last year we were able to collect 1200 toys and donations and over $500 in cash donations to give local families through TOYS FOR TOTS. Our community and its employees have been extremely generous and have helped to make the holidays a little brighter for local families in need. We look forward to another great year!" said firefighter Crowe, who is also a Second-Class Petty Officer Hospital Corpsman.
