BLANCHESTER, Ohio — An Ohio nursing home showed their residents a wildly fun time this week, setting up an event to get them active in a very unique way—and it went viral because it's just that great.
Continental Manor, a nursing home in Blanchester, Ohio, held a “deer hunting” activity for residents Monday and you have to see it.
Staff members, donning antlers and snouts, pranced around a display of Christmas trees as residents aimed at them with foam dart blasters on a safe, indoor hunting trip.
The nursing home took a video of the activity, and the laughter of residents and staff is truly heartwarming.
With the COVID-19 pandemic making visitations and socialization in nursing homes across Ohio more difficult than ever, Continental Manor found a way to bring a bit of joy and laughter to their residents.
