CLEVELAND — After paying it forward in Rocky River and Lakewood, The Giving Tree Project has expanded to Cleveland.

The project, aimed at helping those who need it, attaches bags containing cloth face masks, free for anyone to take.

Community members who do not have access to or can not afford face masks are encouraged to visit the tree and take a mask from one of the branches.

The Cleveland Giving Tree is located at the Kamm’s Corner shopping center on Lorain Avenue.

All of the masks hung from the tree were either donated by local businesses or hand sewn by volunteers.

The Giving Tree Project has already given away hundreds of masks in Northeast Ohio.
