STRONGSVILLE, Ohio — A Northeast Ohio church hosted a very special prom night experience for guests with special needs in Strongsville Friday evening.

Night to Shine, a prom night experience for those with special needs, is sponsored by professional baseball player and former NFL quarterback Tim Tebow’s foundation. The worldwide event is put on by more than 700 churches across the world, including the Royal Redeemer Lutheran Church in North Royalton.

Guests attending the prom night festivities entered their big night on a red carpet walkway and were greeted by a friendly crown of paparazzi. It was a glamorous affair, with limousine rides, hair and makeup stations, shoe shines, corsages and boutonnieres, a catered dinner and, of course, a dance floor and DJ.

Night to Shine provides an unforgettable prom night for an estimated 115,000 guests around the world.

The Strongsville event was held at Michaud's Catering & Event Center on Pearl Road.
