BROADVIEW HEIGHTS, Ohio — During tough times, everyone needs a little smile, and that’s just what one group of students that are home from school hope to accomplish with what has a become a part of their daily routine.
A group of students who attend Royalview Elementary has gone outside every morning, rain or shine, to say the Pledge of Allegiance since their school is shut down.
LOVE: Families & kiddos in Broadview Heights come out and do the Pledge of Allegiance together every morning while schools are shut down. Social distancing done right!

The idea to do this was started by Kressler Family, who started going outside at 9 a.m. to recite the Pledge of Allegiance.
Mary Beth Kressler, mother of four children, said she started this because “in times like these, we have to remember what’s important.”
