MILWAUKEE -- The Boy Scouts of America recalled neckerchief slides due to high levels of lead, according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission.

The brass neckerchief slides contained levels of lead that exceeded the federal lead content ban.

Recalled slides came in styles red wolf, green bear, orange lion, and blue Webelos. Anyone with one of these styles should stop use immediately and return it to a Boy Scouts of America retail store for a free replacement.

Lead is toxic if ingested by young children and can cause harmful health issues.

There were no reported injuries in this incident.
