Commission says there were 'issues' with Trump's audio during debate

The Commission on Presidential Debates announced Friday that there was indeed an issue with the sound quality linked to Donald Trump’s microphone during Monday’s debate.

The Committee posted on its website that “ there were issues regarding Donald Trump's audio that affected the sound level in the debate hall.”

Prior to Monday’s debate, Trump complained to reporters that his microphone wasn’t working properly within the debate hall.

"And they also had, gave me a defective mic. Did you notice that? My mic was defective within the room," he said, accoridng to CNN. "No, but I wonder, was that on purpose? Was that on purpose? But I had a mic that wasn't worked properly, with, working properly within the room."

The Commission on Presidential Debates did not mention an specific issue with Trump’s microphone, or the quality of Trump’s audio on television.
