PHOTO GALLERY: The notorious torso murders in Cleveland
Between September 1935 and August 1938, there were believed to be serial killings in the Cleveland area, according to database information at Case Western Reserve University.
Twelve bodies were found in or near the Kingsbury Run area - a creek bed that ran from E. 90th St. and Kinsman Rd. southeast to the Cuyahoga River.
Seven men and five women were found. Most were dismembered and all were decapitated.
