CLEVELAND — Many of us fortunate enough to still be working are working from home now. If you're me, that means a lot of Zoom meetings. For Martha Baldwin, cellist with the Cleveland Orchestra, there is no technological substitute for sitting, playing and breathing alongside the greatest classical musicians in the world. To Baldwin's credit, and this is probably the key to riding out this whole ordeal, she has a sense of humor about it all. So much of what she said sounds like life in our house right now. Maybe yours, too. Albeit with a far less dramatic string accompaniment.
