DAYTON, Ohio — In the wake of the mass shooting in Dayton that took the lives of nine people and left dozens injured, President Donald Trump is visiting the city on Wednesday.

Trump is scheduled to arrive at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base around 10:30 a.m.
The President’s visit to the city comes on the heels of Ohio Governor Mike DeWine urging state lawmakers to require background checks on nearly all gun sales.
Tuesday, DeWine spoke at a news conference where he said the state “needs to do more while balancing people’s rights to own firearms.”
