COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine has ordered that all U.S. and Ohio flags be lowered on Friday in honor of the victims who were killed during the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, 2001.
DeWine ordered all flags be flown at half-staff from sunrise to sunset on Friday, Sept. 11.
The governor has also asked that all citizens observe a moment of silence beginning at 8:46 a.m. Friday, which is the time that the hijacked American Airlines Flight 11 struck the North Tower of the World Trade Center.
